Semper Quaerens: Andrew Doohan is the Parish Priest of the Forster-Tuncurry Catholic Parish. He is also the Regional Chaplains for St. John Ambulance and for the Ambulance Service of NSW for the Manning-Hastings area. He is quick witted with a “wicked” sense of humour, and I am pround to have him as a friend.

The Oratory of the South is a place or virtual room where people who are seeking to deepen and share their Christian spiritual journey can ‘gather’ with others to walk the journey together in mutual charity. The Oratory of the South was established as part of a response to the Tri-Diocesan Covenant that exists between the Anglican Diocese of Newcastle, the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle, and the Catholic Diocese of Broken Bay, and is a practical expression of the close bonds that exist between the three communities. Although established between Anglicans and Catholics, you are welcome here whatever your spiritual background and heritage might be.
