A rather stupid motorist in China has made a $100,000 wrong turn and driven his Mercedes-Benz into wet concrete on a road under construction.

The video above shows how far the driver managed to get through the wet concrete – about 200 metres before the expensive vehicle came to a halt.

The incident is believed to have happened recently in Guangdong Province, according to local media reports.  The car was stuck for 14 hours before workers managed to dig it out, reported MailOnline. Jackhammers were required to break away the hardened concrete around the Mercedes’ wheels – miraculously appearing to salvage the car.

The actual driveability and extent of damage to the Mercedes is not specified. Then of course there is the cost of repairing the damage to the roadway!
